Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa

The country celebrates 'Buwan ng Wika' or 'Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa' (National Language Month) this August 2015 as an annual celebration highlighting our Filipino language.
The Department of Education (DepEd) and Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) lead this year's celebration with the theme “Filipino: Wika ng Pambansang Kaunlaran” (Filipino: Language of National Development). The celebration highlights linguistic and cultural activities all over the country.
Nutrition Month Culminating Activity

This year’s nutrition month theme is: “Timbang iwasto sa tamang nutrisyon at ehersisyo,” (correct weight through right nutrition and exercise) which aims to make people aware about how they can prevent obesity.
